Getting involved with OpenTitan
Thank you for your interest in getting involved with OpenTitan.
The repository and website are publically available. You can get OpenTitan building in half an hour with our Quick Start Guide.
If you want to get more involved in the project, you can join the project to join working groups or start to contribute.
To maintain the security and integrity of the project, we have an onboarding process for all individuals who want to get involved at this level.
This document covers the steps to get involved with OpenTitan.
OpenTitan Membership
01 / MembershipThere are several options available for OpenTitan membership as either Partner Organisations or Individuals.
If your organisation is already an OpenTitan partner, move straight on to Individual Accounts below.
Not already in an OpenTitan partner organisation?
If you are not a member of a partner organisation, or an individual collaborator, please use this link to contact the OpenTitan project.
Individual Account
02 / AccountTo access OpenTitan internal documents and to collaborate on the project, you will need an OpenTitan account.
As part of the onboarding process, you will be added to OpenTitan mailing lists and Working Groups.
OpenTitan accounts are typically requested as part of partner organisations joining OpenTitan.

Working Groups
03 / Working GroupsThe main technical discussions within OpenTitan take part within the Working Groups.
Members are welcome to join Working Groups and we request that only those who have been onboarded and have joined the Working Group attend.
Code of Conduct
All members involved in Working Groups or contributions are expected to follow the project Code of Conduct.
Contributing
04 / ContributingYou will need an OpenTitan account in order to contribute to the project under our Contributor Licensing Agreement.
